Authentication

Euler Hermes API use OAuth2 for authentication and Access Control. You should have received an API key to connect to the environment. This key will be used to get a bearer token from our Identity provider.

Step 1: Get the OAuth Token

Call the IDP endpoint to retrieve the token.

URL (Prod):

https://api.eulerhermes.com/v1/idp/oauth2/authorize

It should be a POST Request.

Header:

Content-Type : application/json

Body:

{

"apiKey": "your API Key"

}

If the request is successful, you should get:

{

    "access_token": "myToken",

    "token_type": "Bearer",

    "expires_in": 3600

}

myToken will then be the Oauth token usable for one hour.

Step 2: Use the OAuth token

Once the OAuth token has been retrieved from the Identity Provider, it can be used to call any API by adding the following header:

Authorization : Bearer myToken
